Character is what you do when no one's looking

"Be more concerned with your character than with your reputation. Your character is what your really are.
-Make each day your masterpiece.
-Help others.
-Drink deeply from good books, especially the Bible.
-Make friendship an fine art.
-Build a shelter against a rainy day.
-Pray for guidance and give thanks for your blessings each and every day.
By John Wooden. Coach Wooden carried this piece of paper in his wallet. He also gave copies to others.
From the book Souls of Steel by Pat Williams
A book I am reading about how to build character in ourselves and our kids.

I agree that character is more important than gifting. We all need to work on our character. It's a good way to start a new year.

Great advice!! I need to read this book. Sometimes we get so caught up in what our reputation is and not our character is.
Thanks for sharing...looking forward to hear more.

Christina,

Love these thoughts. I loved your comment you left regarding Janet. Yes, she could live with stable, as long as she could handle the treatment. All things are possible with our God.

Thanks for all!

Cheryl
